Victor Aguirre - Executive Director

Mr. Aguirre holds Professional Clear Administrative Services and Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials. He earned an M.A. in Education Technology from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in Social Science from the University of La Verne.

His professional experience includes: serving as an Education Consultant and Coach, mentoring administrators and teachers; Head of School at PREPA TEC Los Angeles High School (2018-2021), where he focused on academic quality and IB education; Director of Student Services and Accountability and Regional Principal at Soledad Enrichment Action Charter (2004-2018), leading curriculum and interventions for at-risk students; Principal and Assistant Principal roles at Riverside Unified School District (1994-2004), where he focused on curriculum, instruction, and college readiness programs; and Teacher on Special Assignment/School Site Specialist and Classroom Teacher in Pomona Unified School District (1989-1994), where he supported school-wide activities and technology integration. Earlier in his career (1981-1989), he was a Child Care Worker/Campus Supervisor at McKinley Home for Boys.


Manuel Nunez - Principal 

Mr. Nunez holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and a clear Single Subject Credential in Mathematics. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education.  His professional experience includes roles as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Mathematics Teacher (and Department Chair), and various other teaching and tutoring positions across middle school, high school, and learning center settings. He has demonstrated experience in curriculum development, staff training, student support, and school leadership.


Pakal Hatuey - Dean of Conduct

Mr. Pakal holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts in History.  A dedicated educator with a passion for fostering student growth, Mr. Pakal brings a wealth of experience in both academic and youth development settings. Prior to this role, he served as a Social Studies Teacher for 6th-8th grade. His commitment to inclusive education is evident through his prior work as a SPED Aide at another school. Earlier in his career, he served as a Crew Supervisor at the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, demonstrating strong leadership and mentorship skills by guiding young adults, prioritizing their safety, and nurturing their talents in a job training environment. This diverse background underscores Mr. Pakal’s ability to connect with students, promote positive behavior, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
